After establishing a rough sketch for class and for the client, I spent the week digging into the template I have chosen to examine how the functionality built into the existing file can best be used and further customized to suit my design needs for the product the client is asking for.
Initial communications with the client indicated that the Office of Research wanted a video-based tutorial. This aligns nicely with our course text, which discusses the multimedia principle in this week's reading. Incorporating video into Storyline is an easy process, so as I am tinkering around inside the template, I am making space(s) for where I would like to employ the multimedia principle for visuals and text in my product for the IRB tutorial.
